Oops - it's been a while ...

... hello?

Well, I haven't blogged here for aaaaaaaaaaaaaages.

My script reading services are still up and running (revised prices and website), but I'm starting a blog again over here, which is more personal and not just an add-on for my website. I wanted to keep the script reading separate from my own stuff, but it was a bit limiting only blogging about that so it kind of ... trailed away ...

I hope some of it's been useful, anyway.

Not All Psychopaths Are Criminals

Often to be found in the role of successful business manager, apparently, psychopaths are not just the stereotypical murderous fiend.

Experts have recognised for some time that not all psychopaths are violent criminals. Many of them live inconspicuously amongst us (see item 4 here). But according to Mehmet Mahmut and his colleagues, these more benign psychopaths have been relatively uninvestigated. It's not even clear how comparable they are to their more notorious counterparts.

True Friends Are - People Who Tell You About Water Bugs

If any of my random blog-readers happen to live in Northampton, Daventry or somewhere west of Daventry and are supplied by Anglian Water, and don't know this yet, our tap water has been contaminated by the bug crytosporidium and needs to be boiled before drinking.

- hasn't exactly matched my experience today - there was plenty of bottled water around at 1pm (until I bought them all!! Mwa-ha-ha!! - not really). Newspapers. Tut!
